How Juventus could line up against Roma

Ahead of Saturday evening's Serie A clash between Juventus and Roma, Sports Mole looks at how the champions could line up.

Juventus will be looking to tighten their grip on top spot in Serie A when they welcome Roma to the Allianz Stadium on Saturday evening.

The seven-in-a-row champions are eight points clear of second-placed Napoli with three more matches to play before the winter break.

There are only a couple of places up for grabs in the Bianconeri's starting lineup, with boss Massimiliano Allegri unlikely to tinker too much on the back of the 1-0 win over Torino last time out.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Juve could line up this weekend.

Possible JUV XI vs. ROM

Out: Juan Cuadrado, Joao Cancelo, Andrea Barzagli

Allegri will be glad to have Rodrigo Bentancur back available for selection following the midfielder's absence against Torino through suspension.

Bentancur has started 10 league games for Juventus this term and should slot back in alongside Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi, meaning a back-up role for Emre Can.

Cancelo is still carrying a knee injury, however, so Mattia De Sciglio will continue to fill in at right-back for a Juve side that has shipped a league-low eight goals all term.

Elsewhere, Wojciech Szczesny is back in contention and, up the other end of the field, Allegri must decide whether to stick with his front three or bring in one of Federico Bernardeschi or Douglas Costa.
