Serie A side Juventus have revealed their pride that they are the only team representing the league in the Ballon d'Or nominations for this year.
Midfield playmaker Andrea Pirlo is the only player from Serie A on the 23-man shortlist and Antonio Conte is up for FIFA Coach of the Year for his efforts last season.
"Andrea Pirlo and Antonio Conte are flying the name of Juventus, Italy and Serie A in the running for the Ballon d'Or," a club statement said.
"The Bianconeri midfielder is the only player in our league, as well as the only Italian, to be included among the 23 finalists for this prestigious award."
All 23 players on the list ply their trade in European football.
