Half-Time Report: Joe Mason fires Bolton Wanderers ahead

Joe Mason scores to give Bolton Wanderers a 1-0 lead over Leeds United in their Championship match this afternoon.

A goal from Joe Mason on the stroke of half time has given Bolton Wanderers a 1-0 lead over Leeds United in their Championship match this afternoon.

Luke Murphy had the first opportunity of the game for the hosts, but he fired narrowly over the bar.

Moments later Neil Danns latched onto Lukas Jutkiewicz's knockdown, before seeing his strike saved by Jack Butland.

Midway through the half Lee Peltier attempted to find the net with a long-range effort, but Adam Bogdan held onto his strike.

On the stroke of half time, Bolton took the lead as Mason fired a shot past Butland and into the bottom left-hand corner.
