Head coach Paul Heckingbottom admits that he is starting to get "frustrated" with Leeds United's form in the Championship.

Head coach Paul Heckingbottom has claimed that Leeds United deserved more from their Championship fixture with Fulham, which they lost by a 2-0 scoreline.

Goals from Kevin McDonald and Aleksandar Mitrovic proved to be the difference as Fulham strengthened their hold of third place in the table and extended their unbeaten streak to 18 matches.

However, Heckingbottom said that he had been left "frustrated" after watching his team squander two clear opportunities to remain competitive at Craven Cottage.

The 40-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "The big moments were the difference between the teams. We can take lots of things from that game - frustration, anger, pleasure, disappointment.

"Certain things went against us. Some pleasing things came out of the game but I'm getting frustrated. We more than matched them but they were good."

Heckingbottom has now recorded just two wins and three draws from his first 10 matches in charge of the Yorkshire giants.
