Uwe Rosler was full of praise for the Leeds United players and fans after today's late 2-1 win over Derby County.
Tom Adeyemi opened the scoring for Leeds before Chris Martin pulled one back. Chris Woods lashed in a late winner though to give United their first three points of the season.
"It was very much needed," Rosler told Leeds United's official website. "Only a top performance today would have guaranteed us the three points.
"The first half was exceptional. The tempo was raised in the second half and they scored in a very good moment for them. The crowd supported them even more, but then we steadied the ship and pushed on for the win.
"Today we got rewarded for all the effort we have put in since I walked through the door. I'm very, very happy for the players, for the staff and for the supporters that we have something to show today."
The victory means Leeds are unbeaten in the Championship this season and sit in 10th spot.
