Leeds United are hopeful of getting a deal over the line for Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster by next week, according to a report.
The six-cap England international is unwanted at St Mary's and has been told that he can move on this month, as was the case last summer.
Forster, who joined the Saints in a £10m move from Celtic in 2014, has slipped down the pecking order and is currently behind Alex McCarthy and Angus Gunn.
Leeds are on the lookout for a new number one, meanwhile, and the Daily Star suggests that they will swoop for the out-of-favour Southampton stopper.
Bailey Peacock-Farrell is Marcelo Bielsa's current first choice, but United lost loan keeper Jamal Blackman to injury and need cover.
Real Madrid's Kiko Casilla was previously touted as a target for the Whites, while Emiliano Martinez of Arsenal is another possible option.
