Leicester City assistant manager Craig Shakespeare has claimed that Nick Powell must remain patient as the midfielder looks to make an impact in the Premier League.
Powell, who joined the Foxes on loan from Manchester United in the summer, has struggled to earn a place in the team, and only made his league debut as a substitute in the defeat to West Bromwich Albion last Saturday.
"He has had to be patient, like a lot of players have had to be," Shakespeare is quoted as saying by the Leicester Mercury.
"Players will say they want a run of five or six games to be judged on. As a coach or manager we will tell them that sometimes we can't give them that time."
Leicester are back in action against in-form Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
