Leicester City are understood to be close to signing Marseille striker Rod Fanni.

Leicester City are understood to be closing in on a move for Marseille striker Rod Fanni.

The 32-year-old has been told by the French club that he is free to leave this summer.

Fanni was left out of Marseille's squad on Sunday for their 2-0 defeat at home to Montpellier in Ligue 1.

He has now flown in to England in order to finalise a deal with the Foxes, according to Sky Sports News.

Fanni joined Marseille in 2011 following a four-year spell with Nice.
