Leicester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Saint-Etienne defender Wesley Fofana when the transfer window reopens.
The Foxes are considering targets to bolster their squad ahead of an expected return to the Champions League next season, with Brendan Rodgers's side currently sitting third in the Premier League table.
French outlet Le 10 Sport claims that Fofana is one of the players to have been identified by Leicester and that they have begun to make moves to complete a deal for the 19-year-old.
Saint-Etienne are willing to consider offers for the centre-back, with the report claiming that they need to sell players in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and that Fofana is their most valuable player.
However, Leicester are not the only club interested in the youngster, who is also wanted by the likes of AC Milan and RB Leipzig.
Fofana, who has made 23 appearances this season, only signed a new contract at Saint-Etienne earlier this month which ties him to the club until 2024.
