Leicester City have announced the capture of defender Matthew Upson on a free transfer.
The 35-year-old has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the Foxes after opting to leave Brighton & Hove Albion one month before his contract expires.
The defender, who was offered a new contract at Championship side Brighton, will join Leicester following spells at numerous clubs, including Arsenal, West Ham United and Stoke City.
Upson, who has 22 England caps to his name, will return to the Premier League with the Foxes next season.
