A struggling Strasbourg side will make the journey South to Montpellier HSC, eyeing up their maiden victory of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 campaign.

Winless after seven matches, Strasbourg begin the weekend inside the bottom four, with fears mounting over a potential relegation.

We say: Montpellier HSC 2-0 Strasbourg

Strasbourg can ill-afford anymore slip-ups if they wish to climb up the table and even at this early stage of the campaign, getting points on the board is crucial.

Being said, Montpellier are a side that have dominated this fixture in recent seasons, with another victory for the hosts expected to follow this weekend.

Just two points separate Lille and Toulouse in the Ligue 1 table ahead of the weekend's fixtures, with the pair set to meet at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday night.

It has been a stuttering start to the campaign for the 2020-21 champions Lile, whereas newbies Toulouse are enjoying life back in the top flight after earning promotion from Ligue 2 last season.

We say: Lille 1-1 Toulouse

Two sides with contrasting thoughts as to how their seasons have started, Toulouse will travel to Lille confident of snatching a result.

History suggests that it will be a challenge for the visitors, but given Lille's wretched form, do not bet against Toulouse snatching a point this weekend.
