How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Liverpool

Ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's meeting with Liverpool this weekend, Sports Mole looks at how the Lilywhites could line up at Anfield.

Tottenham Hotspur head to Liverpool for the pick of this weekend's Premier League fixtures, desperately hoping to end their winless run.

The Lilywhites are without a victory in their last four top-flight matches - not since between February and March 2012 have they gone on a longer run.

After collecting just one point from the last 12 on offer, defeat at Anfield on Sunday could well see Spurs drop out of the top four.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the North London outfit could line up for their trip to Merseyside.

Out: Eric Dier (muscle)
Doubtful: Harry Winks (hip), Serge Aurier (hamstring)

Mauricio Pochettino lost two players to injury over the international break, with Dier picking up a knock for England and Aurier damaging his hamstring while away with Ivory Coast.

The two-week hiatus has given Kieran Trippier a chance to regain fitness, though, having been unused by the Three Lions, so he should get the nod at right-back on Sunday.

The absence of Dier, and likely Winks, means that Victor Wanyama may once again have to start in the engine room, while Christian Eriksen looks set to continue in a deeper midfield position.

Harry Kane is fit and firing, meanwhile, and he has been involved in four goals in four Premier League appearances against Liverpool at Anfield (three goals, one assist).
