Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish says his side deserved the three points after another home draw with Spurs this evening.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has said that his side didn't get what they deserved after drawing a blank against Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

The Reds controlled for large parts but were unable to really test Brad Friedel as the game fizzled out to a draw.

"We didn't get what we deserved but the most important thing for us is that we are really pleased with the way the team played," the Glaswegian said afterwards.

"We put them under a lot of pressure and played with great determination. We just needed a bounce of the ball to go our way."

Dalglish also spoke of the return of Luis Suarez, who missed a golden opportunity to win the game by heading straight at Pepe Reina, adding: "It's fantastic to have him back. He should never have been out in the first place."

Although they are unbeaten at Anfield in the league this year, the draw was Liverpool's eighth in front of their own fans.
