Robbie Fowler: 'Title is Manchester City's'

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler claims that the Reds' title challenge is over following their 3-3 draw to Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

Robbie Fowler has conceded that Liverpool's title chase now appears to be over after they were held to a 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

The Reds had a three-goal lead with 12 minutes to go before Dwight Gayle scored twice after Damien Delaney's strike, and Fowler now feels that the Premier League trophy is Manchester City's to lose.

Speaking to BBC Sport, the former striker said: "I go and watch [Liverpool], and look, they play exciting stuff, but I look at the way it has gone and I don't think they'll win it now.

"There might still be something in it, you look at the 2012 season when City played QPR to win it [on the final day of the season], but I can't see it now."

Four points from their final two games will see Manuel Pellegrini's City crowned as champions.
