Paul Lambert: We won't underestimate Liverpool

Paul Lambert claims that he is "under no illusions" with regard to Liverpool's quality ahead of Norwich City's clash against the Merseyside club.

Norwich City manager Paul Lambert has claimed that his side will not underestimate Liverpool when the two sides meet on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool have only reorded one victory in their previous six Premier League games but Lambert believes that Kenny Dalglish's side still have enough quality to worry his team.

Lambert said: "Liverpool have won the Carling Cup, they are in the final of the FA Cup. The fan base is huge, Kenny is a massive presence and they are still a fantastic side.

"I don't think anybody should underestimate that.

"Their performances have been good, but the results have gone against them, which happens, so I am under no illusions of how hard it is going to be."

Norwich City are currently 13th in the Premier League.
