Liverpool owner offers Luis Suarez private jet?

Liverpool owner John Henry reportedly agrees to fly Luis Suarez back from Uruguay in his private jet so that he is fit and ready for Saturday's Merseyside derby.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez will use Reds owner John Henry's private jet this week to ensure that he arrives back in plenty of time for Saturday's Merseyside derby.

Suarez is on international duty in Uruguay for their World Cup playoff decider with Jordan tonight, which kicks off at 11pm GMT in Montevideo.

With the Reds due at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime, Henry has decided to let Suarez use his personal aircraft to make the long trip back to Liverpool on Thursday morning, according to The Mirror.

Henry's private jet will fly from Boston to Uruguay to bring Suarez back home a day earlier than originally expected, giving him time to re-acclimatise and prepare to face the Toffees.

The 26-year-old has been in fine form for Liverpool this season since returning from suspension, scoring eight times in six Premier League games.
