Luis Suarez: 'I ignore the bad press'

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez claims that he ignores the media reports about him.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has revealed that he doesn't pay attention to media reports about him.

The Uruguayan forward has been embroiled in several controversial moments since his arrival in England in 2011, but the Reds' number seven claimed that he ignores the bad press.

Speaking to BT Sport, Suarez said: "I am so happy here in England and I know I have had problems but I try to forget everything to concentrate on football.

"I can't listen to all the internet [reports] and the media otherwise I can't sleep. I know for me it is better if I can't see and listen [to what is being said].

"If you have one fault, you can work to change everything."
