Mario Balotelli: 'I have wasted too many chances in my career'

Mario Balotelli admits that he is "no longer a kid" and cannot afford to make any more mistakes in his career after returning to AC Milan on loan from Liverpool.

Mario Balotelli has admitted that he cannot afford to make any more mistakes in his career after returning to AC Milan on loan from Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has completed a season-long loan switch back to the Rossoneri, just a year after the Reds brought him to Anfield for £16m.

Balotelli is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "I feel like someone who has put the first part of his career to one side. Played and lived like a boy.

"I haven't forgotten how to play football, but I am no longer a kid. I've wasted too many chances."

Balotelli scored four goals in 28 appearances for Liverpool last season.
