Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew believes that striker Andy Carroll 'will find his way' at Liverpool.
Carroll, who moved to Anfield from the Magpies for £35m in January, has come in for criticism after only managing to score five goals for his new team.
"He hasn't really had a run in that Liverpool side and like all strikers, he probably needs a run," said Pardew.
"He's a great lad and a great player. I like Andy.
"He is going through a period of transition at a new club, finding his feet and finding out that they play slightly differently to how we did here, but he will find his way."
The two sides meet in the league at Anfield on Friday.
