Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling believes that he and his teammates are good enough to be a top-four Premier League club.

Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling is confident that the Merseyside club can become a top-four team in the Premier League.

The 18-year-old was absent during the latter stages of the campaign due to injury as the Reds finished the season in seventh place.

"We can definitely be in the top four," Sterling told BBC Sport. "We finished the season strongly, so hopefully we can start the new one that way and push for a good position."

Meanwhile, manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he will strengthen in this summer's transfer window.
