Agent: 'Dennis Aogo wants Schalke 04 stay'

Goran Stipic, the agent of Hamburger SV defender Dennis Aogo, says that his client wants to make his loan deal to Schalke 04 a permanent fixture.

Dennis Aogo's agent has revealed that his client wants to make a permanent move from Hamburger SV to Schalke 04 despite reports linking him with Liverpool and Roma.

An option in the 26-year-old's loan deal allows Die Knappen to snap him up for £2.5m, and Gordon Stipic has said that the German international is keen to see that happen.

"I know nothing of Roma's interest," he told Ilsussidiario.net. "He's fine and wants to stay at Schalke.

"It's normal, however, that a player as strong as him is attracting other clubs."

Aogo moved to the Imtech Arena from Freiburg in 2008 but has since fallen out of favour.
