Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has reportedly reassured Ousmane Dembele that he still has a big part to play at Camp Nou.
The France international's future was called into question in the second half of last season because of poor punctuality.
Dembele, who has also struggled with injuries during his two years in Catalonia, is rumoured to have been offered a route out of the club by Liverpool.
Spanish outlet Marca claims that the 22-year-old looks likely to stay at Barca for now, though, as Bartomeu told the attacker his side 'are counting on him' during recent talks.
The report indicates that Barcelona may even look to build their team around Dembele, along with Frenkie de Jong, Jean-Clair Todibo and potentially Matthijs de Ligt, who has been strongly linked with a move.
