Fabio Borini wants to remain at Liverpool following speculation linking the striker with a move to Fiorentina, according to his agent.

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has no intentions of leaving Merseyside following speculation over his future, according to his agent Marco De Marchi.

The Italian frontman, whose season has been marred by injury, is believed to be a summer target for Fiorentina.

"I don't know anything more than what I have read in newspapers," De Marchi told Radio Toscana.

"I am certainly glad to see that Fiorentina are building something important. But Fabio is happy to be at one of the most prestigious clubs in the world."

Borini, who moved to Anfield from Roma for £12m last summer, will miss the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder.
