Aly Cissokho hints at Liverpool stay

Aly Cissokho suggests that he would like to stay at Liverpool beyond his season-long loan deal.

Aly Cissokho has suggested that he would like to stay at Liverpool beyond his season-long loan spell.

The 26-year-old French defender joined the Reds from Valencia on a temporary deal over the summer.

However, Cissokho admits that he is enjoying life on Merseyside and hopes to continue playing at Anfield once his contrast expires.

"It's a great source of pride for me every day to be able to play with players like this and to represent a big club like Liverpool," he told the club's official website.

"It's a source of pride for all the coaches I had as a youth player. Of course, I am very happy to be here and I hope to stay here."

Cissokho has made six appearances in all competitions for Liverpool so far this season.
