Former Wigan Athletic midfielder Mohamed Diame is reportedly in discussions with West Ham United over a possible transfer.
The 24-year-old, who was released from the Latics at the end of the season following the expiration of his contract, is believed to have been a target for a host of Premier League outfits.
Despite rumoured interest from a number of clubs, it is understood that the Senegal international is due to undergo a second round of talks with the newly-promoted Hammers, according to Sky Sports News.
Diame recently admitted that he was close to a switch to Liverpool but opted out of the move following the sacking of manager Kenny Dalglish.
