Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he is not worried about the possibility of losing Emre Can to Juventus this summer.
The 24-year-old is out of contract at Anfield at the end of the season and is believed to have held talks with the Serie A champions about a free transfer next summer.
The Germany international has also conceded that he could yet sign a new deal with the Reds, however, while also promising to remain committed to the club during the period of uncertainty.
Can got himself on the scoresheet during Liverpool's 3-0 win at Huddersfield Town last night and, speaking after the game, Klopp said that the player's performance on the pitch is all that matters.
"What is the problem, as long as he plays like this?" he told reporters.
"As long as people behave like Emre now behaves and delivers and then, if, in the end, we have to do it, we shake hands and say goodbye. And if he stays we say hello again."
The result saw Liverpool move level on points with third-placed Chelsea in the Premier League table.
