Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly told club officials that he is happy to sign Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsey this summer.
Despite their consistently high-level performances this season, Liverpool have reached a stage in their progression where several personnel changes could be made over the coming months.
That includes at right-back where Neco Williams may depart Anfield on a permanent basis, freeing up space for a new right-back to be signed as backup to Trent Alexander-Arnold.
According to The Athletic, Klopp has given the green light for Liverpool to press on with discussions for the prospect ahead of 2022-23.
In his breakthrough campaign in Scotland, the 18-year-old has made 22 starts and five substitute appearances, his performances also leading to interest from Leeds United.
The report claims that Aberdeen will demand at least £3m for Ramsey, who has already earned three caps for Scotland Under-21s.
