Report: Liverpool monitor Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya

Liverpool are keeping an eye on Barcelona defender Martin Montoya, according to reports.

Liverpool could make a summer move for Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya, according to reports.

The 24-year-out is out of contract at Camp Nou and is expected to leave at the end of the season as Dani Alves reportedly edges towards a new deal.

The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool have joined the race for the Spaniard, but must compete with Juventus and Inter Milan for his signature.

The paper says that the Merseyside club do not have large funds available to them, and are also interested in James Milner, Danny Ings and Memphis Depay.

Montoya made his Barcelona debut in 2011.
