Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Liverpool.
With Emre Can continuing to be linked with a move away from Anfield at the end of his contract, Jurgen Klopp is said to be assessing a number of potential replacements for the Germany international.
The Merseyside giants have previously been credited with an interest in Ndidi but according to Guinean journalist Alpha Balde, contact has already been made with the 21-year-old.
Balde claims that Ndidi would be keen to seal a transfer to Liverpool, but that Leicester are likely to demand a big fee for a player who has impressed in his first 14 months at the King Power Stadium.
Ndidi - who has already made 54 starts for the Foxes in all competitions - still has over four years left on his contract at the East Midlands outfit.
Leicester boss Claude Puel has previously said that he has 'no issues' with Ndidi being linked to a bigger club in England's top flight.
