Liverpool are considering a move for 24-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker and Italy international Ciro Immobile, according to reports.

The 24-year-old Italy international has struggled in the Bundesliga following his move from Torino last year, scoring seven goals in 21 appearances for the 2012 champions.

According to the Daily Star, relegation-battling Dortmund are looking to cut their losses in the summer, moving Immobile on for a cut-price fee, and Brendan Rodgers is reportedly keen on the former Toro forward.

Immobile has nine caps for the Azzurri, scoring once.
