Norwich City 'demand £30m for James Maddison'

Norwich City reportedly decide that they are willing to sell midfielder James Maddison during the summer transfer window for a fee of £30m.

Norwich City have reportedly decided to allow James Maddison to leave Carrow Road during the summer for a fee of £30m.

Maddison has established himself as one of the key players for the Canaries this season, with eight goals and five assists coming from 28 appearances in the Championship.

However, according to The Mirror, Norwich are prepared to sell the 21-year-old ahead of next season due to the end of their parachute payments after relegation from the Premier League in 2016.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have all taken an interest in signing the player, who still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.

West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also previously been linked with Maddison, but they have effectively been demoted to outsiders in the race to sign the England Under-21 international, who has previously spent time at Coventry City and Aberdeen.
