Kylian Mbappe reportedly has no interest in signing a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain, raising Real Madrid and Liverpool's hopes that they could sign him.

Real Madrid and Liverpool have reportedly been handed a boost in their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe with the news that he has no interest in extending his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

The 21-year-old's current deal is due to expire in 2022 and, while PSG are eager to extend his stay at the Parc des Princes, they are also considering whether to cash in on him next summer should they not make further progress with talks before that.

French outlet Le Parisien claims that Mbappe has already decided against signing a new contract, leaving PSG knowing that his price tag is likely to fall the longer they keep hold of him.

The World Cup winner could reportedly already be available for £91m next summer, a price which has increased the interest of Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Madrid is thought to be Mbappe's preferred destination due to the presence of his idol Zinedine Zidane as manager, but the Premier League champions are also in the race for his signature.

Madrid decided against spending any money during the recent transfer window due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, while Liverpool have also rarely made big-money signings in recent windows.

However, the prospect of bringing Mbappe to the club could tempt either to dip into their pockets, with the France international having scored 94 goals and set up 55 more in 128 games for PSG.
