Report: Adam Lallana poised for medical ahead of Liverpool move

Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana could reportedly undergo a medical this week ahead of a proposed move to Liverpool.

Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana is said to be edging closer to a move to Liverpool amid reports that he is booked in for a medical.

The 26-year-old is believed to have attracted a £20m bid from the Reds following an impressive campaign at St Mary's.

Numerous reports have claimed that the Merseyside outfit are in talks with the Saints, who are reportedly holding out for an increased offer.

However, according to Football Direct News, Lallana, who will travel to Brazil with England for the World Cup next month, could undergo a medical at the Three Lions' training base on Tuesday.

The midfielder has spent eight years with Southampton.
