A report claims that Alberto Moreno may be offered a route out of Liverpool by former club Sevilla.

Sevilla have asked Liverpool about the possibility of re-signing defender Alberto Moreno, according to a report.

The Spanish full-back spent two years in Los Rojiblancos' first team after emerging through the academy in 2012.

Moreno has since gone on to make 135 appearances in five seasons at Anfield, but he is no longer a regular at the back and admitted last week that he is seeking a move away.

The Sun suggests that former club Sevilla may offer the 26-year-old a route out of Liverpool next month, having already made an enquiry.

Marseille are also believed to hold an interest in Moreno, who has earned four caps for the Spanish national side.
