France's number one goalkeeper Hugo Lloris signs a contract extension with Lyon.

Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has signed a new two-year contract with the club and will now remain at the Stade Gerland until 2015.

The 24-year-old has been linked to a number of European clubs over the last 12 months but he has joined teammate Michel Bastos in committing his future to the former champions of France.

"Olympique Lyonnais is pleased to announce the contract extension of Hugo Lloris, who has committed to two more seasons with the OL," read a statement on the club's official website.

"Olympique Lyonnais welcomes his commitment over the long term, as with Michel Bastos a few days ago, which further supports the policy and the new dynamics of the club."

Lloris has made 26 appearances for the French national team.
