Bafetimbi Gomis scores the winner as Lyon overcome Guingamp 1-0 in Ligue 1.

Lyon have beaten Guingamp 1-0 in Ligue 1 this evening.

Bafetimbi Gomis scored almost immediately after the restart to give the visiting OL the points to take them to within five points of a Champions League place in the division.

Gomis went close early on in the game but his 11th-minute shot was well-saved before Rachid Aliou flashed an effort wide on 34 minutes.

Lyon had their winner just seconds after the second-half whistle when Alexandre Lacazette played in Gomis and the French international striker made no mistake with the finish.
