Manuel Pellegrini allays Sergio Aguero injury concerns

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini insists that Sergio Aguero was not taken off at half time against Viktoria Plzen due to injury.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Sergio Aguero is not struggling with any injury problem.

The Argentine striker was taken off at half time of the Citizens' Champions League clash against Viktoria Plzen at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

"Aguero hasn't any problems," The Mirror quotes the Chilean as saying. "He knew from the beginning he was just going to play 45 minutes."

City won 4-2 against Plzen to remain second in Group D with 12 points from five matches.
