Joe Hart reveals that the whole squad must take the blame if Manchester City fail to win the Premier League.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has urged the club's fans not to blame Carlos Tevez if they miss out on the Premier League title.

Tevez is expected to make a return to first-team action soon following his goalscoring appearance for the reserves on Tuesday.

Despite Tevez's problems with manager Roberto Mancini, Hart believes that if the club fail to win their first Premier League title then the whole squad must take responsibility.

Hart told The Mirror: "If we don't win the league, it will be our own fault. That includes Carlos, myself – everyone.

"I'm not interested in what's perceived outside of the club. All I'm interested in is what's going on inside the club and how we can win the league.

"If that means Carlos coming back, scoring a hat-trick and everyone saying he's the greatest player in the world, so be it. I couldn't care less."

Mancini's side currently lead the title race by two points.
