Roberto Mancini: 'Manchester City sacking part of football'

Roberto Mancini says that getting sacked by Manchester City is part and parcel of modern football.

Roberto Mancini has responded to his dismissal at Manchester City by suggesting that the managerial merry-go-round is part and parcel of football.

The Italian was sacked by the North West outfit a year to the day that Sergio Aguero netted a last-minute goal to bring the Premier League title to the Etihad Stadium.

While the 48-year-old has yet to make an official statement regarding his exit, Mancini told Sky Sports News: "This is life, this is football."

Widespread reports have suggested that Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini will be installed as City's new boss following claims that he has already held three meetings with club officials.
