Roberto Mancini could reportedly make a swift return to management in the form of AS Monaco boss as the club prepare to offer the Italian a lifeline following his dismissal at Manchester City.
The 48-year-old was sacked by the former Premier League champions last night a year to the day when he guided the club to title glory for the first time in 44 years.
Monaco are interested in appointing Mancini, despite fellow Italian tactician Claudio Ranieri taking the club into Ligue 1 this season, according to The Express.
Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini is poised to take over at the Etihad Stadium following several meetings with the North West club.
