Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta insists that Tottenham Hotspur are a more dangerous team when they play away from White Hart Lane.

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur are more formidable when they play on the counter-attack.

The Premier League champions have home advantage when they play Spurs on Sunday afternoon, but the 27-year-old has admitted that he and his teammates are cautious about the speed of Tottenham's attacking players.

Zabaleta said: "Tottenham have a great team, with fantastic players.

"Even following the departure of Luka Modric, they still have so much quality up front and when they play away they are more dangerous because they have players who are very quick and play well on the counter-attack.

"We have to be worried about it and defensively we have to work pretty hard."

Manchester City are currently in third place in the Premier League table.
