Sergio Aguero is revealed as Manchester City's biggest purchase to date.

Sergio Aguero is expected to cost Manchester City £90m during his stay with the club.

Roberto Mancini’s side have agreed a £38m fee with Atletico Madrid for the forward, while the player’s £200,000-a-week wages will cost them a further £52m.

Only the £50m spent by Chelsea on Fernando Torres eclipses that total, but Aguero is not intimated by the pressure.

"I think like a giant, think like a winner," Aguero said. "I spoke to Mascherano a lot, about Champions League football and about the Premier League when he was with Liverpool.

"The best Premier League striker I've seen, and by a long way, is Didier Drogba at his most powerful - and Torres isn't far behind."

Aguero scored 74 goals in 174 matches for Atletico and has netted 13 times in 30 appearances for Argentina.
