Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo will supposedly be part of a three-way transfer deal with Barcelona's Nelson Semedo and Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.
Cancelo has failed to hold down a regular spot in Pep Guardiola's starting XI since his arrival last summer, and the full-back has been strongly linked with an exit from the Etihad.
Recent reports suggested that City were at the head of the queue for Semedo's signature, but Barcelona's pursuit of Martinez will supposedly lead to an unorthodox solution.
According to Sport, Cancelo and Semedo would be involved in a swap deal between City and Barcelona, with the former then heading to Inter as part of a deal for Martinez.
The report claims that all parties are satisfied with the proposed deal, with Jorge Mendes said to be central to negotiations as the agent for both Cancelo and Semedo.
Cancelo has amassed 24 appearances across all competitions for City this season, but the 25-year-old has only started eight games in the Premier League.
