AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani insists that it is best for Mario Balotelli to stay at Manchester City this summer.

AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has reiterated that the Spanish giants are not planning on launching a summer bid for Mario Balotelli.

The controversial striker, who scored during Italy's 2-0 win over the Republic of Ireland at Euro 2012 last night, was previously linked with a switch away from the Premier League champions but talk has since cooled.

"Mario to AC Milan?" talkSPORT quotes Galliani as saying. "No, no, not AC Milan, Manchester City is his. Do they make a good couple? Yes, a nice couple."

Meanwhile, the Serie A side have continued to claim that they are not willing to sell star defender Thiago Silva to Paris Saint-Germain.
