Inter Milan are reportedly determined to bring Barcelona attacker Lionel Messi to San Siro.
The 33-year-old is believed to have told new Barca boss Ronald Koeman in a face-to-face meeting on Thursday that he is considering his future at the club.
Messi's existing deal at Camp Nou is due to expire next summer, and the Catalan giants could be forced into a sale in the current market if the Argentine makes it clear that he will not be penning a new contract.
Manchester City would allegedly be the favourites for the South American should he become available, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are focusing on a deal for the attacker.
The report claims that the Italian giants are determined to find a way of signing Messi and could wait until next summer when he is potentially available on a free transfer.
The former Newell's Old Boys youngster scored 31 times and registered 26 assists in 44 appearances for Barca during the 2019-20 season.
