Manchester City have confirmed that young midfielder Rodney Kongolo has left the Etihad Stadium to join Heerenveen on a four-year contract.
The 20-year-old joined City from Feyenoord in the summer of 2014, but did not make a first-team appearance for the club before joining Doncaster Rovers on loan for the 2017-18 campaign.
Kongolo - a three-time Netherlands Under-20 international - has now moved to Eredivisie side Heerenveen on a deal until the summer of 2022.

According to Sky Sports News, City have received £750,000 from Heerenveen as part of the deal, although it is currently unclear whether there is a buy-back option.
Kongolo scored once in 42 appearances during a loan spell at Doncaster last season.
