Manchester City are reportedly contemplating whether to launch offers for Leicester City duo Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu in January.

Manchester City have reportedly identified Leicester City duo Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu as potential January additions.

Having slipped nine points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool, it is being claimed that Pep Guardiola will attempt to sign a new centre-back at the beginning of 2020.

While Benfica's Ruben Dias has emerged as an option, Sky Sports News says that both Evans and Soyuncu are also on City's radar.

The pair have formed a strong partnership in the middle of Leicester's backline this season, which has helped the Foxes into second position in the standings.

With that in mind, the East Midlands outfit are unlikely to consider any bids for either player while in contention for a return to the Champions League.

Evans, formerly of Manchester United, has over 18 months left on his contract, while Soyuncu is tied to the King Power Stadium until 2023.
