Manchester City 'have contract ready for Everton Soares'

Manchester City offer £36m plus bonuses to Gremio for Brazilian attacker Everton Soares, according to a report.

Manchester City have reportedly offered £36m plus bonuses to Gremio for Brazilian attacker Everton Soares.

The 23-year-old is currently in action for Brazil at the 2019 Copa America and scored twice for the Selecao in the group stages of the competition.

Earlier this month, Everton hinted that he would be open to a move to Manchester United this summer.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the interest has arrived from the other side of Manchester, with City offering Gremio £36m plus bonuses for the attacker.

The report claims that the Premier League champions also have a contract ready for the South American, which would run until the summer of 2024 and would be worth £4m per season.

Everton has scored 49 times in 210 appearances for Gremio since making his debut in 2014.
