League One high-flyers Walsall have signed Manchester City youngster George Evans on a month-long loan.
Evans, 20, made his City debut in the League Cup against Sunderland last month and then was named in the matchday squad for the Premier League defeat at Tottenham Hotspur four days later.
However, the midfielder has not been part of Manuel Pellegrini's squad since and will hope to get more first-team football with the Saddlers.
Walsall are second in League One, two points behind Gillingham, ahead of tonight's trip to Barnsley, a game in which Evans can feature.
