Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is reported to be monitoring Manchester City's Javi Garcia ahead of a proposed transfer bid for the player.
talkSPORT claims that the City midfielder, who has made only five starts for his club this season, has attracted interest from the Italian side, who are looking to bolster their options in the centre of the pitch.
It is also said that Napoli's interest in the player has been heightened due to Garcia's ability to play as a makeshift defender.
Benitez's side are currently third in Serie A on 28 points.
